Uppu Kappurambu Movie Review: Keerthy Suresh and Suhas starrer Uppu Kappuramba won the viewers’ hearts by delivering the right blend of humour with sarcasm. It's a quirky comedy film with a plot that is set against the backdrop of a village. The movie is a clever social commentary on dignity in death and shows how people can be easily divided based on communal differences. This Telugu film highlights several socio-political issues, including misogyny, communal divide, dynasty politics and patriarchy.

Uppu Kappurambu features Keerthy Suresh as Apoorva, the idealistic new village head, and Suhas as Chinna, the strange yet clever graveyard caretaker. In the story, Chinna tells Apoorva that there is no more room for burials, and she has to do something about it. Meanwhile, the main antagonists, Madhubabu (Shatru) and Bheemayya (Babu Mohan), are committed to undermining Apoorva just because she is a woman in a position of authority.
