‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ is a Hindi romantic sports drama movie, set for release in 2024. Directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions, the film features Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The project was announced in November 2021, and filming occurred between May 2022 and May 2023. Scheduled for release on May 31, 2024, it promises an exciting cinematic experience for audiences.
The movie follows the story of Mahendra, a former cricketer who didn't succeed in the sport, and Mahima, a doctor, brought together through an arranged marriage. Sharing the same nickname, Mahi, they became known as Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. As they bond, they realize their shared passion for cricket. Mahendra, recognizing cricketing talent in his wife, encourages her to pursue her dream of becoming a cricketer. He coaches her along this journey of self-discovery and achievement.
