Mrs Movie Review: Sanya Malhotra, Kanwaljit Singh, and Nishant Dahiya star in the Hindi drama Mrs., which is available for viewing on ZEE5. The Great Indian Kitchen, a 2021 Malayalam movie, has been officially remade in Hindi by Aarti Kadav. For her role in Mrs., Sanya Malhotra took home the 2024 New York Indian Film Festival's 'Best Actress' award. The movie is co-written and co-produced by Harman Baweja. 

A number of scenes from Sanya Malhotra's Mrs have been making the rounds on social media, igniting a contentious debate among women who are praising the movie as an honest and unapologetic portrayal of the difficult reality they encounter on a daily basis.

Many people were especially triggered by a moment where the bride's father-in-law wants her to grind a chutney by hand.
