MTV Roadies Winner Vashu Jain: When the 22-year-old Chattisgarh boy Vashu Jain arrived for the auditions of Roadies: Karm ya Kaand, he caused a rift among the gang leaders Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty and Gautam Gulati by making him a hot commodity with his physical strength and stamina. His ability shocked the leader and they wanted him to be in their team. With Vashu being a big Prince Narula fan, she chose to go with him and started his journey with Team Prince. However, midway, the game changed and Vashu joined Rhea's gang. Today, by winning the title of MTV Roadies winner and taking home Rs 5 lakh, he proved that his skills were unmatched and he was made to write his name in golden letters.
As Vashu Jain celebrates his big win, let's have a look at his journey and what are his thoughts about winning the show for Rhea Chakraborty who made her comeback with the reality show. In an exclusive conversation with Jagran English, Vashu reveals if he will be next seen in Splitsvilla.
In the beginning, you failed to perform many stunts. Was it because of the high expectations of being in Prince Narula's gang that dominated your performance?
No, it wasn't the pressure of being in Prince Narula's team, rather I felt pressurised because of myself as I lost the first task. When I joined Roadies, I never thought I would lose in the first task itself and that put me under a lot of pressure and it showed in the other tasks as well.

After switching to Rhea Chakraborty's gang, you outperformed each task. What difference did you see in Prince and Rhea's leadership?
There is no difference in leadership but when I was in Prince's gang, the tasks were not the ones in which I could outperform myself. They were not my forte. The first task I performed and lost was of my forte and I lost it due to some issue. It put me under pressure. However, we won many tasks as well when I was on Prince's team.
I am a Bo Staff player so when I joined Rhea's gang, the tasks were in alignment with my specialisation which helped me win. It also gave me a lot of confidence to perform well. Prince Bhai guided me a lot in the beginning when I was in his gang, when I shifted to Rhea's gang, I listened to myself as well along with her guidance which actually helped me.

MTV Roadies is Rhea Chakraborty's comeback after the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. What was your reaction when you contributed to her win?
I was extremely happy that it was her comeback and that I could contribute to it and make it successful. I was happy that someone from her team won and helped her.
However, my win is also Prince Narula's win because he always supported me. Even when I was in Rhea's gang, he never asked anyone to me vote out. In fact, he supported and guided me throughout.
Do you think being in Prince Narula's gang comes with more disadvantages than advantages since he is a veteran and gets targeted the most?
If someone is joining Prince Bhai's gang, he/she has to be mentally and physically prepared to bear many things. They will obviously get good guidance and good leadership. It is anyway a proud feeling to join Prince's gang. For me, it was always a dream to join his gang and experience the Roadies' journey.

Now that you have won Roadies 19, what is the next action plan? Will you be seen in Splitsvilla or Bigg Boss next?
I am open to all the options. I haven't been approached for anything yet but I am looking forward to it. Whenever the auditions begin and if I am approached for it, I will definitely like to try my luck. Hopefully, you will be able to see me in a new show.
