Mufasa The Lion King Box Office Collection Day 4: The animated prequel to the iconic The Lion King, has been performing well at the Indian box office, with its collections showing solid growth over the first few days. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the movie earned around Rs 6.4 crore on its fourth day (Monday), bringing its total India net collection to Rs 45.25 crore.
On Day 4, Mufasa: The Lion King saw a significant dip of 63.01% compared to its third-day collection of Rs 17.3 crore. However, it still managed to perform better than expected for a Monday, bringing in Rs 6.4 crore across all languages. This marks a solid start for the film, which had an impressive opening weekend.
Here’s a look at the box office performance of Mufasa: The Lion King in India over the first four days:
Day 1 (Friday): Rs 8.3 crore
Day 2 (Saturday): Rs 13.25 crore
Day 3 (Sunday): Rs 17.3 crore
Day 4 (Monday): Rs 6.4 crore (early estimates)
The movie's performance across different regions showed varied results. The English (3D) version had an overall occupancy of 18.01% on Monday, with the highest attendance seen in evening and night shows. The Hindi version also saw decent occupancy, standing at 12.46% overall.

The film's success is partly attributed to the star power of Shah Rukh Khan and Mahesh Babu, who voice the characters in the Hindi and Telugu versions. Their involvement has helped the movie attract audiences, particularly in the Hindi and Telugu-speaking markets. The movie's performance on Monday exceeded expectations, netting Rs 7.75 crore, which is 3% more than its opening day collection. Mufasa: The Lion King is expected to continue its strong run at the Indian box office, benefiting from the festive period. However, it will face competition from Varun Dhawan's Baby John, which releases on December 25.
