Munawar Faruqui won Bigg Boss 17 and took home the glorious trophy, Rs 50 lakh cash prize, and a brand new Car. The stand-up comedian always promised his fans during his stint in the reality show that he would bring the trophy to Dongri. Now after winning the esteemed title, Munawar Faruqui reached his hometown with the trophy and was greeted by a tsunami of fans. He shared a video on Instagram which proved that the comedian is not alone in celebrating his victory.

Munawar Faruqui shared a video and wrote, "Naam - e - Munawar ka shor…" He also thanked his fans who go by 'Munawar Ki Janta' and 'Munawar Ki Warriors'. In the video, Vicky Jain can be heard saying that Munawar's fans are not just fans but cult followers who love him a lot. The showcases the same emotion as thousands of fans crowd him and greet him on the streets of Mumbai.

While Munawar kept ruling the Bigg Boss 17 voting trends during the show, many people called him the 'fixed winner'. Reacting to the same, the stand-up comedian told India Today, "Main nahi janta (I don't know). I always thought I had a 50-50 chance as Abhishek equally deserved this win. This tag only sounds very fixed."

He added, "I know I made some mistakes and I had to bear the brunt of the same. I was also judged for it. However, in the real world, I have done some good deeds, and because of this, I have gained love from fans. It is their good wishes and support that have helped me come so far. I am so thankful to them."

Munawar also shared a photo with host Salman Khan after winning the trophy. He wrote, "Bohot Bohot Shukriya Janta.... Aapke pyaar aur support ke liye Aakhir kar Trophy Dongri aa hi gayi...
