Munjya Box Office Collection Day 1: The horror-comedy, starring Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma has made an impressive debut at the box office, with first-day collections estimated to be above Rs 3.50 crore. The film saw a notable increase in collections throughout the day, indicating positive momentum. Munjya, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and presented by the makers of 'Stree' and 'Bhediya,' introduces a character from Konkan coast folklore, as the first CGI main character in a Hindi film. The film also stars Mona Singh, and Sathyaraj.

The film garnered around Rs 3.75 crore net in India on its first day. According to Sacnilk, the film experienced an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 21.49% on Friday, June 7, 2024. The breakdown of occupancy rates throughout the day showed that morning shows had a 10.41% turnout, afternoon shows saw a 17.50% turnout, evening shows had a 20.55% turnout, and night shows peaked at 37.49%. As Munjya continues its theatrical run, all eyes are on its weekend performance and whether it can maintain its momentum into the following week.

The film is estimated to have been made on a budget of Rs 30 crore, including prints and advertising (P&A). The film has been released on approximately 1,000 screens. On its first day, Munjya marked a strong start. The positive reception and promotional offers have contributed to its encouraging opening performance at the box office.
