South Indian film industry has taken Indian cinema to a new height with blockbuster films like 'RRR', 'Pushpa: The Rise', 'KGF' franchise, 'Kantara' and 'Baahubali', among others. The OTT content of South Indian cinema is not behind at all and some projects in the regional language have been successful in impressing the audience. Several streaming platforms like Disney+ Hotstar, Netflix, and Prime Video, among others, have announced new web series with intriguing plots.

Take a look at the list of upcoming South Indian web series that will be released on different streaming platforms.

1. MY 3

'MY 3' marks the OTT debut of Hansika Motwani and will soon release on Disney+ Hotstar. Also starring Mugen Rao, Janani Iyer, Ashna Zaveri, and Shantanu, the show will focus on the love story between two robots and will be a romantic comedy-drama. It is directed by Rajesh and financially backed by Trendloud.

'Masterpeace' stars Nithya Menen and Sharaf U Dheen in the lead roles with Renji Panicker, Maala Parvathi, Shanthi Krishna, Asokan, Jude Anthany and Divya Pillai in supporting roles. Directed by Sreejith N and produced by Mathew George, the show will be released on Disney+Hotstar in Malayalam along with Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi dubbed versions.

Venu Thottempudi will make his OTT debut with 'Athidhi' and the web series will soon release on Disney+ Hotstar. The streaming platform recently unveiled the first look of 'Athidhi' without revealing much details about its plot.

4. Dhootha

Starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead role, 'Dhootha' is a supernatural horror web series that will release on Prime Video. Directed by Vikram K Kumar, the show also features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prachi Desai, and Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam in key roles.

5. The Village

Arya will make his OTT debut with the horror web series 'The Village' which will release on Prime Video. The show also features Divya Pillai, Aazhiya, Aadukalam Naren, Thalaivasal Vijay, Muthukumar, Kalai Raani, George M, John Kokken, Arjun Chidambaram, Pooja, Jayaprakash and P N Sunny.
