My Dearest Nemesis has become an early 2025 sensation, breaking online engagement records with over 62.6 million views in just two episodes. Starring Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook, the romantic comedy has already surpassed the viral hit Lovely Runner and is generating buzz for its engaging storyline and the undeniable chemistry between the lead actors.

The Monday-Tuesday drama has quickly established itself as one of the most-watched series of early 2025. As of February 16, with only two episodes aired, the drama had already amassed 62.6 million views across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Naver TV, Instagram and Facebook. This figure has surpassed Lovely Runner’s 58.8 million views, setting a new benchmark for tvN’s weekday dramas.

Not only is My Dearest Nemesis leading among all Monday-Tuesday dramas tracked by tvN, but it also ranks second overall, including weekend dramas—a remarkable feat given the traditionally larger viewership of weekend shows.

Based on a popular webtoon, the drama brings a fresh take on the classic enemies-to-lovers trope, combining childhood misunderstandings, online gaming nostalgia and workplace rivalry.

The story follows Baek Su Jeong (Moon Ga Young), a high school senior who once formed a close friendship with an online gaming partner known as Black Dragon. Their connection deepened into a secret crush, and they eagerly planned to meet in real life. However, Su Jeong was left mortified when she discovered that Black Dragon was actually a younger middle schooler, not the charming, older guy she had imagined. Feeling embarrassed, she cut ties with him instantly.

Fast forward sixteen years later, Su Jeong is now a successful planner at Yongseong Department Store. Confident and accomplished, she believes she has moved past her childhood humiliation—until she meets the company’s new head of strategic planning, Ban Ju Yeon (Choi Hyun Wook). To her shock, he turns out to be Black Dragon, the very person she once swore never to speak to again.

As workplace rivals, their past emotions resurface, leading to a fiery mix of professional tension, lingering resentment and undeniable attraction. The drama’s success isn’t just due to its engaging plot—fans are raving about the chemistry between Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook. Since its premiere on February 17, My Dearest Nemesis has dominated online discussions, with hashtags related to the drama frequently trending.
