My Demon actor Kim You Jung is coming soon! Fans of Kdrama have something exciting to look forward to as the main cast for the upcoming webtoon-based drama Dear X has been officially announced. The talented lineup includes Kim You Jung, Kim Young Dae, Kim Do Hoon and Lee Yul Eum, who are set to bring this thrilling story to life.

Dear X centres around the life of Baek Ah Jin, played by Kim You Jung. She is a popular actress who appears to have it all but hides a darker side beneath her glamorous facade. Baek Ah Jin struggles with childhood traumas and uses a mask to conceal her true self from the world.

Supporting her is Yoon Joon Seo, portrayed by Kim Young Dae, who firmly believes in the power of love. Having been by Baek Ah Jin’s side throughout her ups and downs, he is ready to sacrifice everything for her.

Kim Do Hoon takes on the role of Kim Jae Oh, Baek Ah Jin’s devoted supporter. He shares similar scars from his past and stands by her side to help navigate her challenges. Lee Yul Eum will portray Rena, an idol-turned-actress who finds herself drawn to Yoon Joon Seo.

Dear X is based on a webtoon by Ban Ji Eun and promises a blend of romance and suspense. The series is directed by Lee Eung Bok, known for acclaimed dramas such as Goblin, Descendants of the Sun, Mr. Sunshine and the horror series Sweet Home.

The drama explores the complexities of fame and the darker sides of celebrity life. Baek Ah Jin’s journey from being a top star to facing a fall from grace illustrates the cost of success. While she is outwardly kind, she has a ruthless streak, punishing those who cross her while manipulating those around her to get what she wants.
