Nehal Chudasama, an actress and representative of the 2018 Miss Universe pageant, was physically assaulted, beaten and thrown by a guy in Mumbai, she knew for around two years. 

Nehal Chudasama shared the heartbreaking story of the regrettable incident with her followers in an Instagram post. She stated that she the incident took place on February 16. She claimed the man was stalking her, and when she raised her voice, she was attacked.

Nehal Chudasama Physically Assaulted By Man, Suffered Bruises

Nehal Chudasam further mentioned that the man's 'monstrous behaviour' prevented two women from helping her. She disclosed that she had filed a formal complaint and that Mumbai Police had detained the accused, who had a criminal background

Narrating the details of the horrifying incident, she said, "On 16th Feb, I was Physically assaulted. (Trigger warning). My left wrist & arm were twisted with great force. I was slapped on my face too hard which left a ringing ear, my cheek turned red. I was held & thrown in a way that I had bruises on my body along with being threatened to run over me by his car (sic)."

Nehal Chudasam went on to say that the '40-year-old super built man' broke the front doors of her car. She shared, "I was being stalked in public places & mentally tortured in innumerable

ways, over the past few months. My stern but polite expression to stop doing this provoked the guy to verbally abuse & physically assault me like a monster (sic)."

Nehal Chudasam revealed that she rushed to the nearest police station to lodge an FIR after the abuser left the scene threatening to run his car over her. "Thanks to @mumbaipolice for all the investigation & help. The person was arrested. Besides this, I lately discovered this person had fraud & other criminal cases on him too (sic)," she concluded.

Nehal Chudasama clarified in the post's caption that she had no intention of gaining sympathy by disclosing the incident. She claimed that because the assault flashbacks continue to haunt her, she was too disturbed. But she had to fight and stand up for herself, so she found the strength and pulled herself out in a matter of days.

Nehal Chudasama is yet to reveal the identity of the abuser.

For the unversed, in 2018, Nehal Chudasama won the title of Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Universe. After winning Miss Diva Miss Universe 2018, a 22-year-old Mumbai girl went on to represent India in Miss Universe. She did not, however, reach the top 20 list.
