Neil Nitin Mukesh recently talked about a disturbing incident in which he was detained and asked about his nationality at an airport in New York.
In an interview with Mashable India, the actor clarified that he was detained at the airport during the shoot because the security guards didn't think he was from India. "When I was doing the film, New York, I was detained at the airport there. They refused to believe that I had an Indian passport and that I was Indian. So it became quite big news that I was detained. They didn’t even let me answer or say anything for myself, " he said.
