Netflix's hit action Kdrama, Bloodhounds, is set to return for a second season, bringing back lead actors Lee Sang Yi and Woo Do Hwan, as per a report by Korean media outlet Sports Seoul. The announcement comes nearly a year after the show's debut, promising fans another round of intense action and an intriguing storyline.

The show, which follows the lives of two rebellious boxers battling illegal loan sharks, gained immense popularity with its unique blend of bromance and thrilling plot. Despite facing controversy due to lead actress Kim Sae Ron's DUI incident during the filming of the first season, the show garnered massive viewership, solidifying its position as a fan favourite.

Production for Bloodhounds Season 2 is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2024, suggesting a potential release date in 2025. While Lee Sang Yi and Woo Do Hwan are confirmed to reprise their roles, Kim Sae Ron's involvement remains uncertain. The actress faced backlash and had her scenes shortened and edited in response to the controversy, leaving her role in the upcoming season unclear.
