Blink (Amazon Prime Video)
‘Blink’ is a 2024 Indian Kannada-language science fiction thriller film, marking the directorial debut of Srinidhi Bengaluru and produced by Ravichandra A J under Janani Pictures, marking his first venture into production. The film stars Dheekshith Shetty and Chaithra J. Achar in the lead roles. Prasanna Kumar MS composed the soundtrack and background score, while Avinaasha Shastry handled the cinematography.
This movie is hailed as India's inaugural Musical Sci-Fi Thriller. It premiered on March 8, 2024, receiving positive acclaim from both critics and audiences alike.
Kalvan (Disney+Hotstar)
‘Kalvan’ is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language survival thriller film, translating to "Thief". It features G. V. Prakash Kumar in the lead role. The storyline follows four friends embarking on a mission to capture an elephant for a reward, all while one of them finds themselves falling for a girl. The movie hit theaters on April 4, 2024.
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (Kannada Version)
‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ is a Hindi-language romantic comedy film released in 2023. It stars Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan portraying a married couple from a small town with aspirations of owning their own home. The movie is written and directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
Upon its theatrical release on June 2, 2023, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ received mixed reviews from critics. Despite this, with a budget of ₹40 crore, the film emerged as a sleeper hit, earning ₹115.89 crore worldwide.
