120 Bahadur, produced by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios, will make history as the first movie to be shown at all of India's defence theatres. The trailer, which depicts a ferocious, inspirational, and little-known part of one of India's largest conflicts, in which 120 valiant Indian soldiers held their position against 3,000 Chinese troops, has struck a deep chord with viewers and received worldwide praise. On November 18, the 63rd anniversary of the fabled 1962 Battle of Rezang La, the film's makers made the remarkable first-of-its-kind decision to start paid previews, even though the movie is scheduled to open in theatres in three days.
120 Bahadur is set to become the first movie to be released throughout India's defence theatre network, with over 800 theatres catering to the nation's military population. The film's exclusive screenings for defence personnel and their families, organised by Picture Time in collaboration with GenSync Brat Media, are intended to close a long-standing divide between India's armed services and the entertainment sector. Additionally, this project will provide families and soldiers stationed in remote areas of the nation with theatrical experiences.

Vishal Ramchandani, Excel Entertainment CEO, said, "120 Bahadur honours the courage and sacrifice of our armed forces. We feel truly privileged that the soldiers whose spirit the film celebrates will be watching it with their families. Our sincere thanks to Picture Time for facilitating this screening for those who serve the nation."
Speaking about this historic move by the makers, Sushil Chaudhary, founder-CEO of Picture Time, said, "There are 1.5 million active soldiers and over six million viewers. But only 30% of India’s 20 million-strong veteran and family audience has access to defence cinemas. We aim to expand the ecosystem to additionally reach the underserved 70% and we begin with a bang with 120 Bahadur, a film we know will deeply resonate with the forces."
