Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan Box Office: The love drama starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor received mixed reviews when it first came out, mainly because it doesn't seem to have connected with viewers. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan only made Rs 43 lakh on its second day at the box office, showing that the movie is having trouble making an impression. As per sacnilk, the movie, which marks Shanaya Kapoor's debut in Bollywood, barely made Rs 50 lakh in India.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan had a modest beginning, earning Rs 30 lakh on Friday, the day it opened. Despite a minor gain in its second-day earnings, the movie is still far from reaching the Rs 1 crore milestone overall. The current total amount collected is Rs 73 lakh (net). On Saturday, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan's overall occupancy rate in Hindi was a lacklustre 15.25%. The movie's occupancy rate in morning screenings was a pitiful 7.52%, while in afternoon shows it increased marginally to 15.60%. At 14.72%, evening shows performed similarly, while night shows did marginally better at 23.14%.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan's low appeal could be contributing to the problem. The movie targets a very specific audience, being a roce mandrama. Nevertheless, during the weekend, industry sources anticipated a stronger opening and more noticeable surge.  Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is unlikely to extend its theatrical run significantly because Saiyaara, which is slated for release next week, is aimed at the same audience.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan may only make a meagre Rs 1-1.15 crore net at the box office, while the print and publicity costs are estimated between Rs 6-8 crore. Due to this deficit, the movie will not be able to recoup its marketing costs from box office receipts.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is presently showing in theaters all throughout India, but unless anything unforeseen happens in the next few days, it looks like its theatrical run will be brief.
