Metro...In Dino has been creating a buzz since the song teaser and the posters have been unveiled. The movie, which is the sequel to the 2007 hit movie Life in a... Metro, features a stellar star cast of actors, including Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta in main roles. The buzz about the movie has increased even more after music composer Pritam Chakraborty at the music launch shared that Aditya has lent his voice to the songs in Metro…In Dino.
At the Zamaana Lage song launch event in Mumbai, Pritam mentioned that musicals filmed on Aditya has been sung by himself. He said, “Musical-based stars sing their own songs, and in this too ('Metro...In Dino'), the musicals that have been filmed on Adi have been sung by him. He is sounding amazing.” The film has 10 songs in total.
On the other hand, Aditya has mentioned how excited he is to be part of Metro...In Dino. He confessed that he has long-standing admiration for the first part Life in a... Metro. Aditya said, “As an actor, when you're shooting songs, you have these beautiful lyrics that you have to act like you're singing and it adds so much depth to everything. Kapur also talked about essential role of music in the narrative. He added, “The songs always help take the story forward, and I’m looking forward to hearing all ten. I haven’t heard all of them yet, but I’m sure they’re going to be amazing.”

Metro...In Dino is slated to release in theatres on July 4, 2025. The film has been directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Anurag Basu, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar. While sharing the teaser of Zamaana Lage, Aditya Roy Kapur wrote on Instagram, “Relive the moment, relive your story — only with Zamaana Lage full song out now! Metro...इन दिनों | 4th July release. #MetroInDino.”
