Paris Fashion Week 2025: Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley delighted fans after posing for a happy selfie together at Paris Fashion Week 2025. The picture, shared by Simone on her Instagram Stories, quickly went viral and had fans gushing about the pair’s warm friendship vibes. The viral selfie with Simone Ashley has once again reminded fans of Aishwarya’s global appeal and her ability to connect across industries and cultures. For many, it was the perfect blend of Bollywood glamour and Hollywood charm.

Backstage, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan met several international stars, including Simone Ashley. The two actresses posed for a behind-the-scenes selfie in their vanity space, both dressed in elegant black. On the other hand, the moment captured between the two actresses wasn’t the only highlight of Aishwarya’s Paris trip. She was also spotted alongside other global celebrities like Ariana Greenblatt, Eva Longoria, and Gillian Anderson during rehearsals. Arriving in Paris with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, Aishwarya once again proved why she is considered one of the most recognised Indian faces on the international fashion scene. Aaradhya, who often accompanies her mother to such events, has also become a familiar face at global shows.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has long been a global ambassador for L’Oréal, walked the ramp in Paris this year wearing a custom-made sherwani by designer Manish Malhotra. The black outfit stood out with diamond-studded brooches and dramatic 10-inch cuffs embroidered with diamonds. According to Manish, the design reimagines the traditional Indian sherwani through a modern couture lens, combining strength with softness. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Work Front

On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 (2023), directed by Mani Ratnam. The historical epic was a huge success, earning over Rs 344 crore worldwide. While she has not yet announced her next film, Aishwarya continues to make strong appearances at international events. Earlier this year, she turned heads at the Cannes Film Festival in a striking custom-made gown by designer Gaurav Gupta, paired with a Banarasi brocade cape handwoven in Varanasi.
