Ajey Trailer OUT: The makers of Ajey The Untold Story of a Yogi have finally unveiled the much-awaited trailer, offering audiences a first look at a powerful story of transformation. The film charts the remarkable journey of a young man who rises from a modest background to embrace the path of spirituality and leadership. Inspired by Shantanu Gupta’s bestselling book The Monk Who Became Chief Minister, the film aims to portray both the struggles and triumphs of this extraordinary journey. Starring Anantvijay Joshi, Paresh Rawal, Dinesh Lal Yadav and Ajay Mengi, the film is scheduled for release on 19th September.

Ajey The Untold Story of a Yogi trailer opens with sweeping visuals of Garhwal, introducing glimpses of Ajay’s family life and childhood friendships. It then moves towards his life-changing decision to renounce worldly ties and take sanyas, sparking a spiritual quest in a land where gangsters and bahubali politicians hold sway. His search for peace soon collides with turmoil as he begins to challenge corruption and lawlessness, transforming from a seeker into a decisive leader determined to bring reform. Showcasing both turbulence and inspiration, the trailer captures Ajay Anand’s inner and outer struggles. It reflects the sacrifices, challenges, and ideals that shaped his path, blending drama, emotion, and spirituality.

Meanwhile, Ravindra Gautam explained the heart of the story, saying: “AJEY is a story of transformation, resilience, and vision, capturing the journey of a simple young man from the hills of Uttarakhand to a life devoted to service and leadership." Producer Ritu Mengi also highlighted the core message: “explores conviction, sacrifice, and leadership, showing both the public and private life of the protagonist and the choices that shaped his journey."

Directed by Ravindra Gautam and produced by Ritu Mengi, the film has been written by Dilip Bachchan Jha and Priyank Dubey, with stirring music composed by Meet Bros. The cinematography is handled by Vishnu Rao, with Udai Prakash Singh as production designer. The associate producers are Suuraj Sinngh of B-Live Productions and Itihasa Academy. The source material for the film, The Monk Who Became Chief Minister, is a biography of Yogi Adityanath, the 22nd Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Written by Shantanu Gupta, an Indian author and political analyst, the book was first published on 25th August 2017.
