Akshay Kumar is currently basking in the success of Jolly LLB 3, which was released in theatres on September 19. The actor, who has delivered phenomenal performances in his over three-decade career, has established his name after being an outsider in Bollywood. Akshay recently opened up about how he has been lucky to be in the right place at the right time, as there are more talented and deserving actors than him who haven’t gotten a chance in films yet. He also revealed how he hasn’t had alcohol in years but pretends to toast with a drink at Bollywood parties.

In a recent interview with ABP News, Akshay shared that success is 70% luck and 30% hard work. Talking about his longevity in the industry, he said, "There are so many people better looking, more talented, and more deserving than me. I see them and think, they’re better than me. But they haven’t gotten the chance yet. That’s where luck really comes in. I’ve just been lucky to be in the right place at the right time."

Beyond acting, Akshay is known for his inspiring fitness and disciplined lifestyle, which he has been maintaining for the last 20 years. He does live like a normal person, but with a set of rules. The actor shared, "Yes, I eat chole puri, jalebis, barfis. I’m not someone who counts calories or proteins every time. I live like a normal person. But I never eat anything after 6:30 pm, not even a snack. I’ve been following this for 20 years. At parties, sometimes I’ll pretend to toast with a drink or take a bite of cake out of courtesy, but I don’t enjoy it. I haven’t had alcohol in years."

Akshay Kumar entered Bollywood in 1991 with Saugandh as a lead actor. However, the film Khiladi in 1992 gave him recognition as an action hero and earned him the nickname 'Khiladi Kumar'. Since then, from action to comedy, he has entralled audiences in every genre.

Meanwhile, Akshay was recently seen in courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB 3 alongside Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla. Subhash Kapoor’s directorial has received overwhelmingly positive reviews despite facing competition with other big releases.

He has exciting projects in the pipeline, including Hera Pheri 3, Bhooth Bangla and Welcome to the Jungle.
