Sonam Kapoor is expected to have her second child with her businessman husband, Anand Ahuja. As reported by Pinkvilla, the actress is in the second trimester and is likely to make an official announcement regarding the pregnancy soon. A source told the portal, “Sonam is in the second trimester of her pregnancy, and the news has brought immense joy to both families.” After getting hitched in 2018, Sonam and Anand welcomed their first child, son Vayu, in 2022.

Since Sonam Kapoor embraced motherhood, she can be seen balancing a glamorous onscreen persona with her personal life. She has been away from big screens for quite some time. Sonam was last seen in the 2023 crime-thriller Blind, a remake of the 2011 Korean film. It has been directed by Shome Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh.

In August, celebrated her son Vayu’s birthday. Sonam penned a heartfelt note and wrote, “Happy Birthday my baby boy. May you always be this curious, kind, thoughtful and sweet. I hope you are always surrounded by so much love, music and 🚗. Mama loves you to the moon and back and again. @anandahuja.”

Not only that, Vayu’s grandfather, Anil Kapoor also penned a heartwarming post for Vayu. He took to Instagram and wrote, “Happy Birthday, Vayu! From the moment you came into our lives, you’ve filled every heart with joy and love. Watching Sonam, Anand, Nani, Dadi, Dada, Rhea Masi, Karan and Aki come together around you fills me with so much pride. You are truly blessed to be surrounded by such thoughtful and loving parents and family.”

Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in Battle for Bittora, an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s novel. The movie has been backed by Anil Kapoor Film Company. More details of the film is still awaited.
