Versatile actor Anil Kapoor turned 68 today on December 24. The wishes have been pouring in from fans and industry members but the most special wish is finally here. His daughter and actress Sonam Kapoor shared priceless moments featuring Anil and her son Vayu on her social media handle.
Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor share a fun bond both on-screen and off-screen. On Tuesday, Sonam took to her Instagram story and shared candid photos of the Animal actor.
The first picture captured Anil playing with his grandson Vayu. Sharing the post, Sonam wrote, “Love you, Anil Kapoor.” The next photo featured Sonam's childhood where the actor can be seen carrying her in his arms. Along with the post, she wrote, “The best dad in the world." The last image showed the stylish father and daughter duo in the present time.
On this special occasion, Anil treated fans with the first glimpse of his upcoming movie Subedaar. In the movie, Anil plays the role of a soldier, who faces the turbulence of civilian life. His first glimpse was full of intensity and intrigued viewers. The clip showed the visuals of a house with people hammering on the door and asking Subedaar (Anil Kapoor) to come out. The actor can be seen in an intense look with eyes full of anger.
About Subedaar
Subedaar is helmed by Suresh Triveni, who previously directed Tumhari Sulu and Jalsa, both starring Vidya Balan in the lead role. Vikram Malhotra, Suresh Triveni and Anil Kapoor serve as producers for the film, which is expected to be released in 2025. The movie features Anil Kapoor alongside Radhikka Madan, who plays his daughter in the film. Subedaar is helmed by the acclaimed director Suresh Triveni. This action-packed drama recently wrapped an intense outdoor shoot in UP and is set to commence its last leg of filming in January.
