'We Are Safe:’ Singer Shaan Shares Update After Horrible Fire Incident At His Mumbai Residential Building

A massive fire broke out in singer Shaan's residencial building on Tuesday. The veteran singer took to social media and assured his fans that he and his family are safe and thanked all concerned authorities for their quick action which helped in preventing any heavy damage.

Shaan took to his Instagram story and shared the horrible story about how he and his family escaped the dangerous situation. He wrote, "Dear All, as the news spreads about the fire in our building, just to let you all know that we are safe. The fire was on the 7th floor; we live on higher floors. We managed to escape to the 15th floor and waited to be rescued. To cut a long horrible story short, we are absolutely fine, waiting to go back home once there is a clearer picture from the fire department."

During the early hours of Tuesday, seventh floor of a multi-storey building in Mumbai caught fire, which caused several issues among the residents. An 80-year-old woman was rescued after experiencing breathing problems and is currently in critical condition at a private hospital ICU. The fire alert was received by the fire service at around 1:45 am and 10 fire engines were sent to control the situation. Shaan was reportedly away from home when this incident took place.

The videos from the incident showing smoke emerging from the building windows went viral on social media. This incident created concern among Shaan's fans and now his statement has relieved them.
