A huge fire started in the early hours of Tuesday at Shaan, a well-known Bollywood singer's residential building in Mumbai. He lives on the eleventh floor of the same building as his family. Shaan was reportedly away from home when the residential building caught fire. As of yet, the singer has not made an official remark on the incident.

According to a civic official quoted in a PTI news agency report, the fire started in the apartment on the sixth level of the Fortune Enclave building in Bandra (West) at around one in the morning.

According to the official, the fire was doused almost two and a half hours later. The visuals of smoke plumes emerging from an apartment window went viral. ANI shared a video on their official social media handle and the caption read, "Mumbai, Maharashtra: Fire broke out in singer Shaan's residential building. Fire tenders on the spot. Further details awaited."

A resident of the building, an 80-year-old woman, was rescued after experiencing breathing problems. A private hospital in the area admitted her, and she is still in the intensive care unit. The alert was received by the fire service at approximately 1:45 am, and ten fire engines were sent to assume command of the situation.

Meanwhile, Shaan amazed the crowd in Bengaluru's Whitefield's Phoenix Market City on December 20. The 52-year-old singer wore a festive white and red outfit. His energetic performance had the audience clapping, dancing, and humming. With his trademark charm, Shaan kicked off the evening by performing Bollywood classics like Chand Sifarish, Deewangi Deewangi, and Main Hoon Don.
