Akshay Kumar has finally broken his silence on Hera Pheri 3 controversy. Actor Paresh Rawal, who essayed the iconic role of Babu Bhaiya in the previous parts of the franchise, officially announced on X (previously Twitter) about his exit from the third part of the movie. His decision came as a big shock to the netizens who even urged the actor via social media to reconsider his decision. Following this news, the situation took a dramatic turn when Akshay Kumar’s company, Cape Of Good Cinema, sued Paresh Rawal for rupees 25 crore.

Akshay Kumar’s legal battle with Paresh Rawal stirred a storm on social media. “I think there will be severe legal consequences. It’s, of course, hurt the franchise. We have written to him letting him know that there are a lot of legal consequences involved. There have been expenses incurred towards the cast, the crew, senior actors, logistics, equipment, and the shooting of the trailer,” said Pooja Tidke, Joint Managing Partner of Parinam Law Associates, which represents Kumar’s production banner, in a statement to PTI.

On the work front, the Khiladi Kumar is all set to make a grand entry in the Telugu film industry with the release of Kannappa. The movie stars actor Vishnu Manchu as well. Actors Mohanlal and Prabhas can be seen making a special appearance in the film.
