Kannappa Vs Maa: A new box office clash is on the way. Akshay Kumar's much-awaited Telugu debut Kannappa and Kajol starrer supernatural thriller Maa, backed by Ajay Devgn, are releasing on the same day this Friday, June 27. Both films have left fans intrigued with their storyline and star cast. Kannappa is a story of a devotee of Lord Shiva, played by Akshay, while Kajol's upcoming film, explores how a mother can go to any extent to protect her daughter and even transform into Maa Kaali. Ahead of the theatrical run and clash, Akshay extended wishes to Ajay and Kajol for Maa's release. He penned a note in his quirky style on social media.

Kannappa Vs Maa Clash
The movie buffs will witness a massive box office clash on June 27 with the release of Maa and Kannappa. Helmed by Vishal Furia, Maa is a mythological horror film starring Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta and Surjyasikha Das in key roles. The mythological horror drama has been written by Ajit Jagtap, Aamil Keeyan Khan and Saiwyn Quadras, the direction of Vishal Furia is backed by Ajay Devgn's production. Maa is presented by Jio Studios. After its theatrical run, the movie will be available for streaming on OTT giant Netflix as shown in the poster.
Talking about Kannappa, the Telugu-language mythological drama, explores one of the most renowned devotional stories of devotees of Lord Shiva in Indian culture. Kannappa is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. In the epic saga, Vishnu Manchu plays the central role alongside Madhoo, Arpit Ranka, R. Sarathkumar, and Mohan Babu in key roles. In the movie, Akshay makes a special appearance.
