Allu Arjun's younger brother Allu Sirish has announced his engagement to Nayanika. The special announcement was made on his late grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah's birth anniversary. Sirish took to his Instagram handle and shared a hearfelt picture of himself holding hands with Nayanika in Paris. He wrote in the caption, "Today on the birth anniversary of my grandfather, Allu Ramalingaiah garu, I feel blessed to share something very close to my heart- my engagement to Nayanika."
Several fans of him took to the comments section and dropped heartfelt reactions. A fan commented, "Heartfelt congratulations, @allusirish anna! As a die-hard fan of #AlluArjun garu, my love & respect naturally extend to you too. Your beautiful words truly touched my heart. It’s so special to see your family's love shine in this moment. Wishing you & #AlluNayanika garu a lifetime of happiness, love & blessings from above," another one wrote, "Congratulations," while others also dropped similar reactions.
Earlier, in the day, Allu Arjun also took to his Instagram handle to remember his late grandfather, Padma Shri late Allu Ramalingaia. He shared a touching note, describing him as the foundation of their family's cinematic journey and expressing gratitude for his legacy. Allu Arjun's gesture showcases his respectful nature and deep-rooted family values. He wrote, "Remembering my grandfather, Padma Shri #AlluRamalingaiah Garu, on his birth anniversary. The foundation for our family’s journey in cinema. The man who changed the course of our lives for generations. We carry forward his legacy with humility and gratitude. Forever in our hearts."
On the professional front, Allu Sirish was last seen in Buddy (2024), an action-comedy-fantasy movie. Meanwhile, his brother, Allu Arjun delivered a blockbuster with Pushpa 2: The Rise.
Allu Arjun has an exciting lineup of upcoming films. Here's what we know so far- Pushpa 3: The Rampage: The third installment of the successful Pushpa franchise is expected to hit theaters in 2028, following the massive success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Director Sukumar is reportedly working on a grand script, with plans to film some scenes abroad as Pushpa's character evolves into an international smuggler. He also has a mythological film with Trivikram Srinivas, titled War of Gods. It is scheduled for release on Sankranti 2026.
