Amitabh Bachchan’s residence Jalsa becomes a place of pilgrimage for his fans every Sunday as they gather outside his house to get a glimpse of the star and share their love towards him. Every Sunday, the Shahenshah of Bollywood makes sure to pay a visit to his fans and continue the Sunday Darshan tradition. Just like always, Amitabh Bachchan came outside his house on August 10, 2025 and greeted fans with warmth and love. But after meeting his admirers, he took to his blog and expressed that this meeting seemed to be a little different.

Amitabh Bachchan shared a couple of photos from his meet and greet with fans and penned a small note sharing his feelings regarding the same. A part of his note read, "Each day a memory and the memory lasts the entire day - have I connected with the Blog or not .. and then suddenly the first matter you attend to is the fact of writing .. Once the ritual of its writing is done, the entire day draws on."

The actor felt that the fans lacked energy and enthusiasm this time and also stated the possible reason, along with a solution. He added, "So back to work after the Sunday meet with the fans .. they were yesterday a bit subdued I felt, except the devoted dedicated ones. Could be the delay in the time or that the evening draws a bit dark with it, and it seems to be getting too late .. but its the weather .. the dark clouds being in the shades ..shall see if the gates can be done slightly early so the fans do not have to wait long."

Amitabh Bachchan is one of the few actors who maintains the ritual of meeting their fans outside their home, just like Shah Rukh Khan, who always greets fans from his balcony. Amitabh Bachchan once shared in his blog that he likes to remove his shoes and then meet his well-wishers, as it is a form of devotion for him.
