Amitabh Bachchan has often shown his admiration for Abhishek Bachchan in public. He frequently heaps praises on his son's performances during movie premieres or trailer relase and other occassions on social media. The veteran actor replied to a fan on Monday who questioned why he doesn't provide the same courtesy to his wife, Jaya Bachchan, and daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai.

Amitabh Bachchan posted two images of himself waving at the admirers who had flocked to Jalsa to meet him in a recent post. He wrote, "Yes, I praise Abhishek. So?" A comment on the actor's post read - "Toh you should also praise your daughter, daughter in law, wife the same way."

Amitabh Bachchan has responded to the query with a well-considered explanation that illuminates his own strategy for demonstrating respect for the ladies in his family. "Yes I shall praise them in my heart.. not publicly.. respect for the ladies," he said.
