About Kaalidhar Laapata Trailer
The trailer follows Kaalidhar, played by Abhishek Bachchan, a middle-aged man grappling with memory loss, abandonment, and a lifetime of quiet betrayals. Upon overhearing his siblings' cruel plan to abandon him at the crowded Maha Kumbh Mela, Kaalidhar resolves to disappear on his own terms. Fate intervenes when he encounters Ballu, an outspoken and street-smart 8-year-old played by Daivik Bhagela, who has been surviving alone in India's chaotic streets. What starts as a unexpected meeting evolves into a much deeper connection.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan also paid tribute to his son Abhishek Bachchan in another blog post, expressing profound admiration for his artistic journey and courage. Big B reflected on Abhishek’s dedication to his craft, declaring him as his true inheritor, not by birth, but by merit. He wrote a quote by his late father, the legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, which read, “My sons, just because you are my sons, shall not be my inheritors; they that shall be my inheritors, shall be my sons”
