Amitabh Bachchan surpasses Salman Khan as highest-paid TV show host

Amitabh Bachchan has solidified his position as the highest-paid TV host in India with his lucrative deal for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17. According to recent reports, Big B is set to earn a staggering Rs 5 crore per episode, with the show airing five times a week, which translates to a whopping Rs 25 crore per week. This impressive figure surpasses Salman Khan's reported earnings of Rs 12 crore per Weekend Ka Vaar episode for Bigg Boss OTT 2, which amounted to approximately Rs 24 crore per week.

Notably, while Salman's weekly earnings are close, it's worth mentioning that he only shoots for two days a week for the show, making Amitabh Bachchan's consistent five-day schedule a significant factor in his higher weekly earnings.
