Anuparna Roy REACTS To Her International Win
Anuparna Roy reacted to her win at The Venice Film Festival by dedicating the prize to women everywhere. Each one there in my hometown, in my country — I want to dedicate this award to them," she said.
Her closing statements, nevertheless, were the most powerful. Her voice was gentle but forceful as she addressed Palestine and the plight of its children. Every child deserves peace, freedom, and liberation, and Palestine is no exception," she shared.
