Ghaati New Glimpse OUT: The makers of Ghaati, starring Anushka Shetty, have released a powerful glimpse of the film just a day before its grand worldwide release on 5th September 2025. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the visuals present Anushka in a never-seen-before action-packed avatar, leaving fans thrilled about her comeback. The Telugu movie also features Vikram Prabhu, Larissa Bonesi, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, Chaitanya Rao Madadi and VTV Ganesh in key roles. Notably, Ghaati marks the second film of Anushka Shetty and director Krish Jagarlamudi after 2011 film Vaanam. 

Taking to social media, the producers UV Creations wrote, "The QUEEN at her FIERCEST BEST on the Big Screens tomorrow. #GhaatiReleaseGlimpse OUT NOW. VICTIM. CRIMINAL. LEGEND. Witness her journey. #GHAATI GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON 5th SEPTEMBER 2025." With the new trailer already creating a buzz, Ghaati is set to mark Anushka Shetty’s fierce return to the big screen, promising high-octane action, emotional depth, and a story of survival that transforms into legend. Additionally, Prabhas also took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “#Ghaati Release Trailer looks intense and intriguing…can’t wait to see you in this powerful role Sweety (Anushka Shetty)..Best wishes to the entire team.”

On the other hand, in a candid chat with actor Rana Daggubati, Anushka also opened up about her plans to sign more projects post-Ghaati. When Rana teased her about taking years between films, she laughed and responded, “No, I need to do more films. I definitely want to choose good scripts and work a little more often. From next year, you’ll see more of me. That’s something everyone has been asking, and I’m consciously working towards it.” Reflecting on her career’s recurring streak of violent roles, Anushka joked, “The amount of violence in my films ‘Arundhathi’, ‘Baahubali’ and now ‘Ghaati’, I was just telling Krish just like hit man can I be the hit woman.” To this, Rana cheekily replied, "For these kind of stories, who will they cast other than you?”

Meanwhile, Anushka further praised her collaboration with Krish Jagarlamudi, recalling how he had previously given her the memorable role of Saroja in Vedam. She shared, "Only he can give me such unique characters. Saroja was handled with such innocence, and it remains one of my best roles. With ‘Ghaati’, again, the characters are written very differently. Sheela and the others stand apart in the way they’re projected.”
