Ameen talked candidly about the stress of being AR Rahman's son in an interview with Bollywood Bubble earlier this year.

"I'm starting with my own plant, and I have a long way to go. I have a lot of hard work to do. My dad has worked with so many composers; he's done so many jingles and live shows. He has done a lot of work to be where he is right now, and obviously, God's blessings," he said.

The singer added, "So I have a lot of work to do, and I want to come up with my own path, and I don't want to compare or anything."
