Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to move into their grand new home in Bandra West, Mumbai, just in time for Diwali. The couple, who are among the most talked-about in the industry, have been waiting for years for their luxurious Krishna Raj mansion to be ready. Now, with the festive season around the corner, they are preparing to begin a new chapter in their lives with their daughter, Raha. The lavish mansion, reportedly worth Rs 250 crore, has been under construction for several years and is registered in Raha’s name. Located in one of Mumbai’s most expensive neighbourhoods, the property has been under constant media attention. Both Ranbir and Alia, along with veteran actress Neetu Kapoor, were frequently spotted at the site overseeing its progress.

Before their big move, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor shared a heartfelt message with members of the media, asking for respect and privacy as they settle into their new home. Their note read, “Dear friends in the media, Diwali is all about gratitude and new beginnings. As we move into our new home, we are thankful for all the warmth and support you’ve shown us. We hope we can continue to rely on your consideration for our privacy and that of our family, home and wonderful neighbours. Sending you and your family all our love this festive season. Happy Diwali! – Alia and Ranbir.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor shared a heartfelt message

Earlier this year, Alia expressed her frustration after a video showing the couple’s Mumbai home went viral online. The clip revealed private views of the still-under-construction mansion, prompting the actress to speak out about the invasion of privacy. She wrote, “I understand that in a city like Mumbai, space is limited sometimes the view from your window is another person’s home. But that does not give anyone the right to film private residences. A video of our home still under construction  has been recorded and shared without our consent. This is a clear invasion of privacy and a serious security issue.”

Alia Bhatt's Current Projects

On the work front, Alia was last seen in Jigra. Up next, she will be seen in the action thriller Alpha, co-starring Sharvari and Bobby Deol. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film Love and War in the pipeline, which will bring her back on screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.

Ranbir Kapoor's Work Front

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor has a long pipeline of work. He will be next seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal Park. The actor has been roped to play the lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Apart from these, he has a big banner project, which is also one of the most awaited film, Nitesh Tiwari's epic adaptation of the Ramayana. He will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram in the magnum opus, whereas Sai Pallavi will be seen portraying the role of Goddess Sita.
