Bollywood’s much-loved couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are all set to embrace parenthood soon! The duo recently delighted their fans by announcing that they are expecting their first child together. Now, new reports suggest that the couple is planning an intimate baby shower ahead of the actress’s delivery. Katrina and Vicky tied the knot in a beautiful, private wedding ceremony in December 2021 at Six Senses Fort Barwara, Rajasthan. Since then, they have been one of Bollywood’s most adored couples, known for their affection and grounded personalities.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the celebration is expected to take place today, on October 6, 2025, and will be a close-knit affair attended only by family members and a few of their closest friends. While Katrina and Vicky have kept most details under wraps, speculation suggests that Chef Shilarna Vaze, popularly known for her catering company Gaia Gourmet, will be in charge of the event’s menu. She seemingly hinted at this in an Instagram story, writing, “Guess whose baby shower @gaiagourmet.in is catering today,” which immediately caught fans’ attention.

Meanwhile, sharing the happy news on Instagram, they posted a cute polaroid picture showing Vicky lovingly touching Katrina’s baby bump, with the caption, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.” Reports also claim that Katrina is currently in her third trimester and is expected to deliver her baby sometime between October 15 and October 30. Although the couple has not officially confirmed the exact due date, reports revealed that they wish to keep everything private until after the baby’s arrival.

Earlier, Vicky’s brother Sunny Kaushal shared his excitement about becoming an uncle. Speaking to Instant Bollywood, he said, “Everyone at home is very happy, but also nervous at the same time. We are all just waiting for the day to come.” His words subtly put an end to rumours that the couple had already welcomed their baby. Following the pregnancy announcement on September 23, 2025, several reports suggested that Katrina would take a maternity break after her delivery. Reports mentioned that she wants to dedicate time to her family before returning to work.
