Bhagwat Chapter 1 Raakshas Trailer Out: The trailer of the upcoming movie Bhagwat Chapter One: Raakshas has been released, ahead of its premiere on Zee5 on 17th October. The crime thriller stars Arshad Warsi as Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat, a police officer investigating a disturbing string of brutal murders in Robertsganj, Uttar Pradesh. Opposite him is Jitendra Kumar, who plays Sameer, a man whose quiet and ordinary appearance hides a much darker and more complex personality.

Bhagwat Chapter One: Raakshas trailer begins with Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat being punished for injuring a suspect in custody and sent on a transfer to Robertsganj. Once there, he is immediately confronted by the case of a missing girl. Soon, he uncovers a chilling pattern several young girls have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. As the investigation intensifies, suspicion falls on Sameer. On the other hand, Jitendra Kumar surprises audiences in this trailer. He appears first in a light-hearted moment, seen flirting with a girl, but is later arrested by Bhagwat and thrashed in custody. His character is presented as layered and unpredictable whether he is truly guilty or a victim of circumstances remains unanswered until the film’s release.

Meanwhile, the trailer also teases courtroom drama, with Jitendra’s character defending himself fiercely against charges of abduction. These intense moments suggest the film is not just a straightforward crime thriller, but a psychological drama exploring morality, truth, and justice. Many viewers have already compared the mood and style of the trailer to Asur, the much-acclaimed series that also featured Arshad Warsi. Directed by Akshay Shere, the film is produced by Jio Studios in association with Baweja Studios and Dog ‘n’ Bone Pictures. Actress Ayesha Kaduskar also plays a pivotal role.

Speaking about the film, director Akshay Shere said, “Bhagwat Chapter One: Raakshas is more than just a thriller. It explores themes of morality, redemption, and personal choices. Both Arshad and Jitendra brought incredible depth to their roles.” Additionally, Arshad Warsi described his role as one of the most demanding of his career. “Vishwas Bhagwat is not your typical hero. He’s flawed, angry, and haunted by his past, but determined to seek justice. Playing him was emotionally exhausting, but also very rewarding,” he said.

Furthermore, Jitendra Kumar revealed that the film gave him the chance to break away from his usual image. “Sameer is a character with many layers he may look ordinary and vulnerable, but he carries a far darker side within him. It was challenging but also liberating to play this role,” he explained.
