Amitabh Bachchan is all love and prayers for his son Abhishek Bachchan’s upcoming movie Housefull 5. The megastar reacted to a fan’s post, who asked for his reaction to the trailer of the film. Amitabh’s reaction is unmissable as he can be seen calling Abhishek ‘bhaiyu’ and sent his good wishes to him. A fan tweeted, “The official trailer is out for Houseful 5. Are you ready for some masti, some dhamal and total entertainment? @juniorbachchan @SrBachchan.” To this Amitabh reacted and wrote, “bhaiyu .. all prayers (with folded hand emojis).”

The trailer unravels some murder mysteries happening at a luxury yacht where six people are the main suspects. The mess and the chaos occurring bring laughter riots. The movie has a big star cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek A Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer and Akashdeep Sabir in key roles. It has been directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is slated to release on June 6, 2025. 

The first part of Housefull was released in theatres in 2010, which featured Akshay Kumar, Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta and Deepika Padukone in key roles. The movie was then directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Lee Alliston.  

The second part of Housefull arrived in theatres just two years after its first part. The film featured Akshay Kumar, Shazahn Padamsee, Jacqueline Fernandez, Asin and Rishi Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film was again directed by Sajid Khan. 

Housefull 3 was released in 2016. Apart from Akshay and Jacqueline, the movie also featured Abhishek Bachchan, Lisa Haydon, Nargis Fakhri and Samir Kochhar in key roles. It was directed by Farhad Samji, Sajid, Sajid Samji. 

The fourth instalment of the blockbuster franchise was released in theatres on October 25, 2019. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Chunky Panday and Rana Daggubati in pivotal roles. It was directed by Farhad Samji and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s production.
