Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan’s show has been taking a dramatic turn every now and then, with heated arguments, fights and game politics. It added more drama after Shehnaaz Gill’s brother, Shehbaz Badesha and Mridul Tiwari's ultimate showdown. The game intensified more after the captaincy task was resumed; round 1 was won by Amaal Mallik’s (red) team. The red group had Amaal, Abhishek, Tanya, Mridul, Awez, Ashnoor, Pranit and Farhana, while the blue group had Baseer, Neelam, Nagma, Zeishan and Shehbaz. They had to pick three names for the captaincy contenders. The first round was of fake contestants, which was won by the red team. The group named Nehal and Blue Team named Tanya as the most fake contestants. After which the red team won the task.

The second round was about who is the most unhygienic member in the house. Red team named Shehbaz and Blue team named Abhishek. The table again turned towards the red team. In the third round, the question was about the most toxic contestant and the red team named Farhanna Bhatt, while the Blue team failed to give a name. The fourth round question was ‘Khoon chosne wala sadasiya’, in which both team voted for Kunickaa. After this, the red team won the task.

After the captaincy task ended, house members were asked to come to assembly room, where contestants had to choose a captain from the red team. Both Mridul and Amaal got the same number of votes. Then the housemates decided to do a tie breaker and again voted. This time, Amaal got the majority of the votes. As per the social media page, BBTak, Amaal Mallik became the new captain of the house. Several social media users showcased happiness after their favourite contestant became the new captain. Congratulations messages poured in on the X post.

Coming back to the nominated contestants of this week, Mridul, Natalia, Awez and Nagma are currently competing to gain votes from the audience. The Bigg Boss 19 voting lines are open till September 12 (Friday) at 10 am.
