Bigg Boss 19 Update: Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss, which is returning with season 19, has been creating buzz over its concept and lineup of contestants. This popular and controversial reality show has been enthralling audiences with both its TV and OTT versions. As the expected premiere date in August approaches, more developments are pouring in. After reports of three new hosts will take over from Salman after his 3-months stint, a fresh update now suggests that actor Ashish Vidyarthi and Lataa Saberwal are expected to join the exciting lineup on the show.

Ashish Vidyarthi And Lataa Saberwal To Join Bigg Boss 19?

According to a social media handle Bigg Boss Khabri shared that actors Ashish Vidyarthi and Lataa Saberwal have been approached by the makers of the show for the upcoming season.

This decision comes after Vidyarthi's recent stint in Karan Johar-hosted show The Traitors. He is a versatile actor and has appeared in many Hindi movies, including Vaastav, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Bichhoo, Jaanwar, Tejas, Vedaa and others.

Lataa Saberwal, who rose to fame with a popular TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently made it to the headlines for her divorce from her husband Sanjeev Seth after 16 years of marriage.

An official confirmation has yet to be made by the show's makers or the actors.

Expected Bigg Boss 19 Contestants Lineup

In addition to Lataa Saberwal and Ashish Vidyarthi, the celebrities who are also approached by the BB makers include Ram Kapoor, Gautami Kapoor, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Alisha Panwar, Munmun Dutta, Anita Hassanandani, Khushi Dubey, Gaurav Taneja, Apoorva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid, Chinki Minki, Purav Jha, Krishna Shroff, Mr Faisu, Kanika Mann, Daisy Shah and others.

Salman Khan will kick off the season, but his hosting duties will be limited to just three months. His agreement is reportedly for a three-month period only. Following this, three guests are likely to take over hosting duties. The reported names suggest Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor, all of whom have hosted the reality show before.

"Like every year, superstar Salman Khan will kickstart the season; however, he will not be the only host this year. The source tells us that Salman’s contract for the show has only been made for three months. “Like every year, the makers are planning to bring in different celebrities as special hosts. After Salman finishes his three-month-long stint, makers will bring in Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor to step in as hosts," the source said.

Bigg Boss 19 Premiere Date

The upcoming season of Bigg Boss is going to be one of the longest seasons. As per the SCREEN report, BB 19 will air by the last weekend of August, probably on August 29 and 30 and is expected to run for five months.
