Bigg Boss 19: Malti Chahar, who entered the house as a wildcard contestant, has been making headlines ever since her arrival. From her first day, she has been at odds with Tanya Mittal, and their rivalry has only intensified. During a heated captaincy task, both women exchanged harsh words, and Malti went on to claim that Tanya’s parents were facing uncomfortable questions outside because of her conduct on the show, a comment that visibly upset Tanya. Later in the episode, Malti was seen talking to fellow contestant Neelam Giri, where she alleged that Tanya kissed Amaal Mallik’s picture during the task. The claim quickly spread among housemates and fans, sparking debates on social media. Many viewers found the remark distasteful and accused Malti of trying to defame Tanya for attention.

Meanwhile, the allegation created a storm on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). One user wrote, “What is wrong with Malti’s head? Accusing a woman on national television without proof is pure character assassination. Salman should show the footage and clear it up.” Another fan said, “I’m not even a Tanya supporter, but that kissing comment was cheap. She was just protecting the pictures during the task.” Others defended Malti, insisting that Tanya’s actions looked suspicious in the task clip. A comment read, “Actually, Malti was right. It looked like Tanya did kiss Amaal’s picture. You can see it clearly in the video.”

The captaincy task required contestants to protect portraits of former captains instead of competing themselves. Tanya and Malti faced off in one of the rounds, with Amaal Mallik acting as the sanchalak (moderator). Their face-off began calmly but turned emotional after Malti’s personal remarks. Tanya eventually won the round but broke down in tears afterwards. After the task, Malti’s conversation with Neelam led to the controversial claim. However, the footage aired on television did not clearly show Tanya kissing the picture leaving the moment open to interpretation.
