The latest BB19 episode featured a new captaincy task, leading to fresh heated confrontations and intense chaos. Gaurav Khanna has reportedly become the new captain of the house, but his reign was short-lived. He won the position after agreeing to give up 70% ration for the entire week. Once again, Bigg Boss surprised housemates with a new move; within minutes, Gaurav Khanna lost the chair of power, and the captaincy shifted to another contestant. As per the latest updates, Shehbaz Badesha will lead the BB19 house, which has left both viewers and housemates stunned.

According to a social media post by BBTak, "Gaurav Khanna's Captaincy remained only for an hour in the house and now Shehbaaz Badesha became the new captain of the house after the assembly voting task."

Bigg Boss 19 Captaincy Task

In the final round of the captaincy task, Gaurav Khanna, who won the task, was given the option to become the new captain of the BB19 house. The housemates were asked to gather in the App Room, where Gaurav was presented with two difficult choices- either become the new Captain by accepting a 30 per cent ration and nominating the entire house for eviction, or make Shehbaaz the Captain with 100 per cent groceries and no nominations. Gaurav chose power over housemates' needs, becoming the Captain and triggering shocking mass nominations. His decision instantly sparked outrage in the house; several contestants criticised Gaurav for his action, calling him selfish.
