Following the reign of Yung DSA, who previously took charge as the first captain of the season, the new task turned out to be less about physical strength and more about strategy and house politics.

The multi-round captaincy task introduced a chaotic format designed to test housemates' alliances and endurance. The male contestants were required to step into a designated "White Room" wearing white clothes.
Meanwhile, female contestants acted as decision-makers by throwing colours at the male housemates they did not want to see as the next captain. With no physical protection or objects allowed, the task immediately exposed underlying rivalries.

Under the supervision of round sanchalaks, the two male contestants carrying the most colour after each round were eliminated from the captaincy race.
Bigg Boss 20 Captaincy Task: Who Got Eliminated?
Round 1: Uditi Singh stepped up as the sanchalak for the opening round, while Arishfa Khan, Love Gill, and Rhiti Tiwari handled the colours. The girls targeted Scout (Tanmay Singh) and Qazi Touqeer, drenching them in colour and officially knocking both out of the captaincy race right at the start.
Round 2: Kanika Mann took over the sanchalak duties during the second round. Contestants Amrapali Dubey, Mahhi Vij, and Mary Kom took control of the colours and targeted Yung DSA and Rohed Khan. Both were eliminated by the end of the round.
So far, key contenders Scout, Qazi, Yung DSA, and Rohed Khan have all been eliminated from the task, shifting the focus to the remaining male contestants.
