Host Mohanlal officially launched the seventh season of the reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam. The actor made a grand entry on the Bigg Boss stage to the title track of his hit movie Empuraan.
He gave fans a tour of the new BB house, offering glimpses of the grand kitchen, dining room, bedroom, jail and confession room. Interestingly, this time, contestants had to face the first task before entering the Bigg Boss house.

He was joined by actor-anchor Anumol, who has appeared in comedy game show Star Magic and in several daily soaps. She has a strong presence on social media.

A well-known lesbian couple, Adhila and Noora, one of the most-talked-about contestants, has finally joined the show after rumours. They are recognised for their legal battle for love.

Advocate and content creator Shaitya Santhosh is among the contestants of BBMS7.

Social media sensation Renu Sudhi and actor Appani Sarath, known for his role in Angamaly Diaries, are also part of the show.
