Bigg Boss Telugu 9: Bigg Boss Telugu has returned with the exciting new season 9, which has already left fans intrigued with its fresh theme called Owners vs Tenants. The reality show, hosted by superstar Nagarjuna, launched with a grand premiere on Sunday, September 7, on JioHotstar and Star Maa. A total of 15 contestants, including 9 celebrities and 6 commoners, have entered the house. Some of the celebrity contestants include Thanuja Puttaswamy, Flora Saini, Shrasti Verma, Bharani Shankar, while the commoner contestants are Harita Harish, Demon Pavan, Priya Shetty and more. Bigg Boss Telugu 9 kickstarted with full-on drama on Day 1 itself. The Owners vs Tenants task created tension inside the house. Contestants even broke a major Bigg Boss rule, escalating conflict between the two groups.
Bigg Boss Telugu 9 Day 1 Rule Break
In the latest promo, Bigg Boss shocked housemates by asking tenants to leave the house immediately and even give up their food plates in the middle of eating. This upset both the contestants and viewers of the show. Bigg Boss then instructed the owners to come to the living area and the tenants to stand in front of the outhouse. It was then announced that from now on, tenants are not allowed to enter the house without the permission of the owners. Bigg Boss also asked contestants to immediately put all the food that had been sent into the storeroom. One of the celebrity contestants was heard saying, "If you want anything, I'll take it. I'll take the punishment." In response, Thanuja Puttaswamy said, "Boss, take it seriously. What should we do if the whole house is punished instead of just you?"

Bigg Boss Telugu 9 Day 1: Harish Vs Manish Clash
Bigg Boss assigned duties like cooking, cleaning, and laundry to the Owners and Tentants. The first major fight erupted between commoners Harish and Manish. During the task as shown in another promo of BBT9, Harish said Sanjana should do cleaning duties, but Manish disagreed. In response, the Masked Man told him not to talk since he hadn't received a badge. Manish argued back, and their war of words shook the house. Bharani was seen trying to stop them, but Harish refused to calm down, leading to an even more heated argument.
