Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 16: After a steady slowdown during the weekdays, Border 2 has shown encouraging signs of recovery at the box office over the weekend. The Sunny Deol-led war drama witnessed a noticeable jump in collections on its third Saturday, bringing it closer to the Rs 450 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Border 2 collected Rs 4.25 crore on Day 16 (Saturday), registering a significant 49.12 per cent increase compared to its Friday earnings of Rs 2.85 crore. This rise comes after the film experienced a gradual decline in collections since its second Monday. In terms of theatre occupancy, Border 2 recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 15.88 per cent on Saturday. Morning shows opened on a slow note with just 6.13 per cent occupancy. However, footfall improved steadily as the day progressed. Afternoon shows saw occupancy rise to 15.90 per cent, while evening shows touched 18.12 per cent. Night shows recorded the highest turnout at 23.35 per cent, indicating stronger audience response during prime viewing hours.
As per Bollywood Hungama, the film had collected Rs 323.89 crore nett in India by the end of Day 14. Its domestic gross collection stood at Rs 385.58 crore during the same period. On the international front, Border 2 added Rs 54.97 crore gross, taking its total worldwide gross collection to Rs 440.55 crore. With this figure, the film is now just a step away from entering the Rs 450 crore club globally.

About Border 2
Directed by Anurag Singh, the film stars Sunny Deol in the lead role alongside Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty. The ensemble cast also features Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, Mona Singh, Medha Rana, and Anya Singh in key roles. The film’s scale, emotional storytelling, and action sequences have resonated strongly with audiences.
With Border 2 continuing its strong run and nearing another major milestone, all eyes are now on whether the film will comfortably cross the Rs 450 crore mark worldwide in the coming days.
