Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Sunny Deol’s much-awaited war drama Border 2 continues its unstoppable run at the Indian box office. The film has delivered a historic performance on Republic Day 2026, recording one of the biggest Day 4 collections ever for a Hindi film. Powered by nostalgia, strong word of mouth and the national holiday, Border 2 has surpassed major blockbusters such as Pathaan, Dhurandhar, Gadar 2 and Dangal in fourth-day earnings.
Border 2 opened to a thunderous response on Friday, collecting Rs 30 crore on Day 1. The film clearly benefited from the emotional connect of the 1997 classic Border, which remains one of the most loved war films in Indian cinema. The momentum only grew over the weekend. On Saturday, the film earned Rs 36.5 crore, registering a strong growth of over 21%. Sunday saw an even bigger jump, with collections soaring to Rs 54.5 crore, marking a massive rise of nearly 50%. However, it was Monday, on Republic Day that truly set new benchmarks.
Instead of seeing the usual weekday drop, Border 2 witnessed further growth on Day 4. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 59 crore on Monday, making it one of the highest fourth-day collections in Hindi cinema history. With this, the film’s four-day India net total reached around Rs 177–180 crore, pushing it rapidly towards the Rs 200 crore club. With this, Border 2 now ranks third among the highest fourth-day collections of all time, only behind Pushpa 2 (Rs 85 crore) and Jawan (Rs 71.63 crore). Even Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, which made a strong impact during its run, earned only Rs 23.25 crore on Day 4 far below Border 2’s Republic Day numbers.
