Border 2 Song Ghar Kab Aaoge Out: Sunny Deol became emotional while speaking at the song launch of Border 2 in Jaisalmer, as he remembered his father Dharmendra and spoke about his deep connection with the Indian Army. The event took place at the historic Longewala, Tanot on January 2, 2026, in the presence of Army and BSF personnel. The occasion blended nostalgia, patriotism and cinema, setting the tone for the upcoming war drama.
While addressing soldiers at the event, Sunny Deol spoke warmly about how Border made him feel like part of the armed forces’ family. His words instantly struck an emotional chord. He said, "Pehle aap sab ko namaskar. Kaise hain aap log? Main aapke parivar ka hissa hi hoon, jabse maine Border ki hai." The moment reflected how strongly the 1997 classic Border continues to resonate with soldiers and young recruits even decades later. Sunny Deol also spoke about how his father Dharmendra influenced his decision to do Border. Sunny Deol shared, "Maine Border ki kyunki jab maine papa ki film Haqeeqat dekhi thi, wo mujhe bohot pyari lagi thi aur main tab bohot chhota tha. Jab main actor bana, maine tay kiya man bhi papa jaisi film karunga." He explained that this emotional connection eventually led him to discuss the idea with filmmaker JP Dutta. He further said, "JP Dutta sahab ke saath maine baat ki aur hum dono ne decide kiya ki hum Longewala waale subject banayenge, jo bohot hi pyara hai. Jo aap sab ke dilon me basa hua hai."

About Ghar Kab Aaoge Song Launched
At Longewala, Tanot, the team unveiled Ghar Kab Aaoge, a reimagined version of the iconic Sandese Aate Hain. The song acts as an emotional bridge between the original Border and Border 2, connecting older audiences with a new generation. The track features vocals by Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra and Diljit Dosanjh. Anu Malik’s original composition returns, with Mithoon rearranging the music and Manoj Muntashir Shukla writing the new lyrics.

Border 2 Cast, Release Date And Production Details
Border 2 stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in key roles. The film is directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta under T-Series and JP Films. The war drama is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
