Border 2 Teaser OUT: The much-awaited teaser of Border 2 has finally been released, and it has already stirred strong patriotic emotions among viewers. Unveiled on Vijay Diwas, the teaser pays tribute to the bravery of Indian soldiers and revisits the intensity of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Led by Sunny Deol, the film also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, each portraying officers from different wings of the Indian Armed Forces. The teaser sets a powerful tone right from the start, with Sunny Deol’s commanding voice delivering a stirring dialogue that instantly grabs attention.
Sunny Deol in Border 2 teaser is heard saying, “Tum jahan se bhi ghusne ki koshish karoge, zameen se, aasmaan se, samundar se-saamne ek Hindustani fauji khada paoge”. The line, which translates to a warning that Indian soldiers stand guard on land, air and sea, forms the emotional backbone of the teaser. The visuals show intense war sequences, explosions and soldiers charging into battle, creating a strong sense of pride and sacrifice. The recurring chant of ‘Lahore tak’ reinforces the film’s bold and dramatic narrative.

Meanwhile, the teaser also offers brief but striking glimpses of the supporting cast. Sunny Deol appears as a fearless Army officer, bringing back memories of his iconic role in the original Border. Varun Dhawan is seen as a determined Indian military officer, while Ahan Shetty plays a key role in the Indian Navy. Diljit Dosanjh, dressed as an Indian Air Force officer, leaves a strong impression with his calm yet commanding presence. Female leads in the film include Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and newcomer Medha Rana, who star opposite Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty respectively.
Sunny Deol Gets Emotional At Border 2 Teaser Launch
The teaser launch event in Mumbai marked Sunny Deol’s first public appearance since the passing of his father, veteran actor Dharmendra, on November 24. Addressing the audience, Sunny recited one of the film’s dialogues, “Awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye?” As the crowd responded with “Lahore tak,” the actor repeated the line but became visibly emotional, struggling to hold back tears.

About Border 2: Story, Crew And Release Date
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is described as a spiritual sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 classic Border, which was based on the Battle of Longewala. This new instalment shifts focus to the 1971 Indo-Pak war, promising a larger scale and modern storytelling while retaining the soul of the original. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with JP Dutta’s JP Films and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. Border 2 is scheduled to release in cinemas on January 23, 2026, ahead of the Republic Day weekend, and aims to honour the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers on the big screen.
