Border 2 Advance Booking Report: Border 2, a war drama starring Sunny Deol, is expected to have a huge opening weekend at the box office. The movie, which also stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, started accepting reservations in advance on Monday. Since advance reservations opened on Monday, 53,526 seats for the film had been sold. According to Sacnilk, the gross earnings are Rs 1.69 crore after a day and Rs 4.56 crore when obstructed seats are taken into account.

Border 2 is selling 2,000 tickets on BookMyShow every hour as of Tuesday morning, and the momentum is getting faster every hour. 

Border 2 Beats Jaat Lifetime Earnings?

Border 2 advance booking gross has already surpassed that of Sunny Deol's Jaat, which opened at Rs 9 crore net after collecting Rs 2.4 crore in advance bookings. At this juncture, Sunny's last major hit, Gadar 2 made about Rs 2.2 crore on its opening day. Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna led blockbuster movie Dhurandhar started its advance booking with Rs 1 crore only.

Border 2, which is a follow-up to the cult movie Border from 1997, would receive a lot of positive reviews. A strong non-holiday opening in the range of Rs 40 crore is suggested by the early start of advance bookings, according to Bollywood Hungama.

What To Expect From Border 2?

Ahan Shetty gives fresh energy, Sonam Bajwa adds grace, Mona Singh plays a pivotal role, Diljit Dosanjh works with Sunny and Varun for the first time on screen, and Sunny Deol resumes his heroic character from the last movie. Because of their combined star power, fans are thrilled about the dynamic interaction between these officers serving their country. Set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war, the script explores violent conflicts, selflessness, and brotherhood.

Talking about the sequel, Sunny Deol said at an event, "Whenever you wear the uniform there's an excitement that you feel and you feel you are also a soldier. We don't train like soldiers but we carry the same emotions inside us. It's just that we get the opportunity to essay the character of a soldier and 99 percent times it is the uniform that give us the strength to play the part, besides we've to add certain things from our end."

Following the December release of Dhurandhar, Border 2 is anticipated to be the next big thing from the Hindi cinema industry.
